The History of the club

The club was founded in 1997 and is based at Halton Sports Club, Murdishaw Avenue, Runcorn for outdoor training , and at Brookvale Recreation Centre for indoor training. The club is registered with The British Baseball Federation (BBF). We spent the first 2 years playing Tee ball, an adapted version of Baseball, which acts as an entry for younger players aged 7 to 10 years. Last year we started a Bronco team, a more advanced game, but still not quite full Baseball rules ages 11 - 13 years.

Our 1999 season was highly successful with 11 out of 13 games being won, with the pinnacle of the players season coming at the Frank Caunce Memorial Tournament in July where we were crowned 'North West Tee ball Champions'. Our 2001 season saw us as runner up in the same tournament.  We have had up and down success with the Bronco squad, but no major tournament success. In 2007 we have had 3 squads.  One Rookie and Two Bronco including a development Bronco squad of new players .  Next year is our real target for success, with the squads hoping to be good opposition.

We are proud to Announce that this Year Business Post have made a substantial donation to the Club to purchase Training tops for all of the squads, a Huge thank you from the Runcorn Jets. A huge thank you to our main Sponsors Rocksavage Power Ltd of Runcon for their generous support of this local club.
